Testimonials

“We accomplished so much this year as a family through these classes. The accountability helped us get assignments completed and the attention to details by the instructors made it fun. We so appreciated the little extras like outdoor days, pumpkins, seasonal snacks and other fun things to keep learning alive. It’s been a great year. I can’t recommend this enough.”

— Michelle Myers, HEH parent

"Kari has such a gift when it comes to working with kids. She knows how to take any lesson and make it fun and relatable. Kari is an encourager, building students up and making them feel confident in their abilities. Her vision and enthusiasm are contagious!"

— Nicki Truesdell, author, Anyone Can Homeschool

“My parents love home education, and their enthusiasm is contagious. I know this not only as their daughter, but as one who benefited from the multiple organizations, events, and educational experiences they founded, led, and participated in over the years. What's most special about the way my parents approach education is their desire to do more than check boxes. They strive to make learning come alive, helping students develop a love for the subject and an appreciation for how it points to God. As a college graduate, professional writer, teacher, and now a homeschool mom myself, I'm thankful to have parents who instilled a lifelong love of learning early on."

— Liberty McArtor, Writer and Podcast Host

“Praiseworthy! Thorough lessons and necessary provided homework information. Nothing was complicated. Nothing seemed confusing or missing. The ease of one day and all work being easy was great.”

— Priscilla Edwards, HEH parent

“Wonderful help for my 13-year-old son to gain confidence in writing.”

— Jenifer Blackmon, HEH parent

"My children did not know how to write a paper before IEW. They did not know how to put their thoughts into a logical order. They have learned these things for multiple types of papers as well as how to make a paper more interesting. They have broadened their vocabulary searching for more riveting words."

— Tiffany Davis, HEH parent

"Gary's influence on me has been far-reaching, from sharing his library and personal historical knowledge with me as a teenager to inspiring my own teens in his various history classes. A teacher with his knowledge and passion is a priceless gift to the homeschool community. He spends countless hours on research and preparation, and the results are amazing!"

— Nicki Truesdell, author, Anyone Can Homeschool

“Mr. Davidson was one of my favorite teachers. I took one of his history classes, 'Forts and Feathers' in middle school. After that I made sure I was able to take one of his history classes every semester until I graduated. His classes were engaging, full of depth, but also fun!"

— Morgan Hilliard, former student
